To provide a safe and supportive place were children, youth, and families can develop their social and emotional capacity, try new things, and take leadership over their community and life. Connexions feels very strongly about identifying the needs of children, youth, and families. We do this through an innovative needs assessment created specifically for the schools.
To help the community identify their goals and find means to achieve them. By ways of asset mapping and needs assessments, Connexions will guide communities to plan their activities more efficiently to allow the community to be most effective. Moving away from bricks and mortar, Connexions will provide e-learning workshops and courses, including community building toolkits for members.
To partner with fellow non-profits, corporations, government, and non government agencies, to provide members with opportunities that can strengthen their role, image, and capacity for social responsibility. Connexions strives to collaborate in shared administrative platforms in NS communities, through project development and facilitation in citizenship and collaborative fundraising.
